A kind rescuer out of Houston, Texas contacted us to share Girlie's story after she was found bleeding and injured hiding in someone's carport. Girlie had an owner but they allowed her to run loose and she was hit by a car, injuring her back legs badly. Girlie's owners didn't want her back after they found out she was at the veterinarian with a rescuer and had suffered some major injuries.

Girlie was provided extensive medical care and support in her recovery and now her back legs are almost as good as new and she can walk and play just fine. Girlie is a happy young dog with an adoring family in Oregon.
